The Milwaukee Brewers beat the Los Angeles Dodgers 2-1 in NLCS Game 1 at American Family Field on Sunday night. Brice Turang homered off Tarik Skubal in the fourth inning to tie the score at 1-1. Garrett Mitchell walked to open the fifth, Cooper Pratt sacrificed him to second, and Luis Lara singled home the go-ahead run. Milwaukee won Game 1 in the first NLCS matchup between 100-win teams since 1976 and snapped a seven-game postseason losing streak against Los Angeles.

Jacob Misiorowski lasted 4 1/3 innings after a taxing NLDS outing, and the Brewers bullpen covered the final 4 2/3 scoreless. DL Hall, Abner Uribe, Aaron Ashby, and Trevor Megill held the Dodgers without another run. Andy Pages had driven in Shohei Ohtani with an RBI single in the second for the Dodgers' only run.

The Dodgers visit Milwaukee again on Monday in NLCS Game 2. First pitch is 5 p.m. Eastern on FOX and FS1. Yoshinobu Yamamoto is expected to start for Los Angeles against Logan Henderson and the Brewers.

The Cleveland Guardians open the ALCS at the Tampa Bay Rays on Monday night at Tropicana Field. First pitch is 8 p.m. Eastern on TBS, truTV, and HBO Max. Foster Griffin will start for Cleveland, and Drew Rasmussen starts for Tampa Bay after he carried a no-hitter into the eighth against the New York Yankees in the wild-card round.
