Dodgers Defeat Braves 4-1 to Take Control of NLDS
The Los Angeles Dodgers moved closer to advancing in the postseason Wednesday, defeating the Atlanta Braves 4-1 in Game 4 of the National League Division Series.
Atlanta struck first when Michael Harris II scored on a wild pitch from Tyler Glasnow in the opening inning. Los Angeles answered in the second as Shohei Ohtani scored on a fielding error, tying the contest at 1-1.
The decisive moment came in the seventh inning when Andy Pages delivered a clutch two-run single off Robert Suarez, giving the Dodgers a 3-1 advantage. Max Muncy added insurance with a solo home run off Raisel Iglesias in the ninth.
Kyle Tucker also contributed a crucial defensive play, making a diving catch to end an Atlanta scoring threat in the sixth inning.
The victory gives Los Angeles a 3-1 series win, eliminating Atlanta and sending the Dodgers to the National League Championship Series.
