A short history

The KBO procedures page describes a single league: 720 games, 144 per club, 16 against each of the other clubs.

Current teams

10 clubs from the published list. Clubs and cities are from the KBO English team page.

Playoffs

The wild-card games, up to two of them, are at the fourth-place club. That club is given a one-win advantage. If the first game is a draw, fourth place goes on to the semi-playoff.

The semi-playoff is five games. Games 1, 2, and 5 are at the third-place club. Games 3 and 4 are at the wild-card winner.

The playoff is five games. Games 1, 2, and 5 are at the second-place club. Games 3 and 4 are at the semi-playoff winner. The winner plays the regular-season winner in the Korean Series.

This desk does not carry a scoreboard for the league.

Korean Series

The procedures page sets seven Korean Series games. Games 1, 2, 6, and 7 are at the regular-season winner. Games 3, 4, and 5 are at the playoff winner.
